Jay Lawler, president of Showcase Builders Inc., started building homes in 1969 while still employed by IBM. In 1972 he left IBM and went into home building full time. He learned from IBM the value of giving a quality product and backing it up with exceptional service. He started by handpicking the best subcontractors. Some of the original subcontractors are still with Showcase Builders after almost 40 years.
                Presently Showcase Builders is building in Chesterfield and Powhatan Counties. The company has also built homes in Goochland and New Kent counties. They build in new and established neighborhoods or on your lot.  Jay Lawler designs all the homes they build but will build from your plans or theirs. You can pick the plan you like, pick the lot you like, and pick the amenities you like, thus customizing your own home.
